We have stayed here many times, it is one of those places it just feels so comfortable to return and enjoy. The agriturismo is a few kilometers from the town of Castellina in Chianti - I have walked in and back for coffee, but the short drive is better!. The town is interesting smart looking.
There is a wide range of accommodations at Borgo di Pietrafitta. Apartments in the main house, 15 apartments in the buildings that vary in size. Decor is country-chic and we can attest, of the apartments we have rented over the years, they are all comfortable. Patios differ so do look at their website. Casa Pera 1 and Casa Pera 2, for example are small apartments with one bedroom. Casa Granaio and Guardia are medium size apartments with two bedrooms. Casa Pera are larger apartments.
The pool is great. Do remember, they do not heat their pools in Tuscany, that is done by the sun! You will be sure to have a very refreshing swim while there!
